Activities
In a community-focused initiative, Dr. Surya B. Parajuli led a campaign reaching high-risk and underserved populations across Nepal to raise awareness about snakebite prevention, first aid, and life-saving practices. Through field outreach, educational sessions, and local engagement, communities were empowered with knowledge on avoiding snake habitats, recognizing warning signs, and responding appropriately to bites.
The campaign emphasized dispelling harmful myths, promoting evidence-based first aid, and encouraging immediate medical care over traditional practices. This initiative reflects our commitment to community safety and public health education — because informed action during a snakebite can save lives.
Under Dr. Parajuli’s leadership, this community-driven campaign reached vulnerable populations across Nepal to promote dengue prevention, vector control, and healthy practices. Through public outreach, educational sessions, and grassroots engagement, communities gained practical knowledge on eliminating mosquito breeding sites, recognizing early dengue symptoms, and preventing disease transmission.
The initiative highlights our commitment to public health and the crucial role of informed communities in controlling dengue outbreaks.
This campaign aims to strengthen the capacity of individuals and families to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. Through awareness sessions, interactive education programs, and grassroots engagement, diverse communities learned about disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and timely care-seeking behaviors.
By simplifying complex health information, correcting misconceptions, and promoting evidence-based practices, the campaign empowers communities to take proactive steps toward better health. Engaging local institutions, youth groups, and community leaders ensures a sustainable impact. This initiative reflects our commitment to building healthier, more informed, and resilient communities.
