6. In a health survey done in a metropolitan city of Nepal showed that non-communicable diseases (NCDs) were responsible for around 60% of the total annual deaths. It was found that multiple factors were responsible for the rise in the prevalence of NCDs.

7. A 43-year-old male from Terai region developed sudden onset of high fever, intense headache, joint pain, retroorbital pain. Fever showed biphasic pattern. Consequently, he developed abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, mucosal bleeding and features of shock. On blood examination, haematocrit was raised.
